Partner with Dr. Jana Kirchner and EPIC to master the intellectual preparation cycle and transform your local social studies curriculum into powerful, inquiry-based learning experiences.
Who is it For?
This is an Advanced Course designed to build upon foundational knowledge of Building Thinking Classrooms. Educators, Math Coaches and Instructional Leaders who support students in Grades 3-12 are invited.
Learning Targets
- Apply the intellectual preparation cycle to plan and analyze social studies curriculum with greater depth and clarity.
- Understand how your curriculum uses inquiry-based learning experiences that are aligned to Kentucky's social studies standards.
