Description
This virtual training equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to fulfill Title IX responsibilities with fidelity
and impartiality. Through case-based learning, discussion, and guided practice, participants will deepen their understandingof the legal requirements and ethical considerations central to Title IX investigations and grievance procedures.

Who is it For?
District and school administrators, Title IX coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, and appeal officers.
Learning Targets
- Define what constitutes sexual harassment under Title IX.
- Conduct investigations that follow federal guidelines and institutional policies.
- Explain the steps of the grievance process, including hearings, appeals, and informal resolution processes, as applicable.
- Serve impartially by avoiding prejudgment of facts, conflicts of interest, and bias.
- Apply standards of relevance when evaluating questions and evidence, including when evidence related to sexual predisposition or prior sexual behavior is not permissible.
- Create an investigative report that fairly summarizes all relevant evidence.
