For three years, EPIC has brought that belief to life through our popular Family Engagement Night series, and we cannot wait to share what we have planned for this year.
What Is Family Engagement Night?
EPIC's Family Engagement Night series is a capacity-building professional learning experience designed to help schools become true partners with families and their communities. Grounded in Kentucky's MTSS guidance, each event helps school teams create the routines, roles, and communication practices that make family partnership a natural part of Tier 1 instruction, not a one-time event on the calendar. This is not just another PD session. This is the kind of learning that sticks, because you live it from the inside out.
What to Expect
School teams come together and experience the event as their families will, moving through creative, themed, hands-on stations that connect learning to real-world fun. Teams do not just observe the stations; they experience them as learners and then build the facilitation skills to lead those same experiences with their own school communities. The learning goes deep, with four hours of immersive experience and debrief time built right in.
Every registered team leaves with a materials kit to host their own Family Engagement Night, including printed materials, station supplies, a digital guidebook packed with complete station activities, family letters, and explicit Kentucky Academic Standards connections. You also leave with practical, inclusive strategies for building lasting family partnerships and extending the learning at home long after the event is over. And yes, lunch is included.
Three Years of Themes, Memories, and Learning

This year's series includes two separate events, one focused on literacy and one on numeracy, so your team can participate in one or both. The Numeracy Night serves as the grand finale of this year's series, and it is going to be a wonderful close to an exciting year of learning.
